Answers without the binder

Your manuals, answering questions like your best employee.

Point an AI at your own documents (manuals, policies, price lists, procedures) and your staff get instant, accurate answers to questions they would otherwise interrupt you with. New hires get productive in days instead of months.

The problem it solves

In most small businesses, the real operating manual lives in the owner's head. Staff interrupt you for the same answers repeatedly, every new hire starts from zero, and when a key person is away, work waits.

The knowledge usually exists somewhere: binders, PDFs, old emails. It is just unfindable in the moment someone needs it, which makes it the same as not existing.

How it works

01

We gather what you already have

Manuals, warranty procedures, price sheets, safety policies, even that binder from 2019. Gaps get written down as short plain-language notes; an afternoon usually covers it.

02

The AI learns only your material

It answers strictly from your approved documents. Ask about a warranty process and it quotes your process, not something invented from the internet.

03

Staff ask, it answers, sources shown

"What is the return policy on special orders?" gets a direct answer with a link to the exact page it came from. If the answer is not in your documents, it says so instead of guessing.

What you get

  • The same questions stop interrupting the owner
  • New hires find answers themselves from day one
  • Answers cite your documents, so trust is verifiable
  • Updating a policy means updating one document, not retraining everyone

What it costs

A focused one-time setup based on how much material you have, plus modest monthly running costs. Watch it working on the Demos page, then use the Business Health Check ($150, with $100 credited toward the project) to scope yours.

Common questions

Our documentation is a mess. Is that a dealbreaker?

No, it is normal. Messy PDFs and old scans are fine, and where things are missing entirely, writing them down is part of the setup. Most businesses are surprised how little new writing it takes.

Will it make up answers?

It is restricted to your approved documents and is designed to say "I don't know, ask a manager" rather than guess. That guardrail is the difference between a useful tool and a liability, and it is not optional in anything we build.

Can customers use it too?

It can be extended to answer customer questions on your website using the same approved-documents approach. Most businesses start internal, then expand once they trust it.

Wondering if this fits your business?

The Business Health Check is where we find out: $150 for a plain-English report, with $100 credited toward any project you move forward with.
